Cornwall and Dartmoor
Jutting out 100 miles into the Atlantic, Cornwall is the southernmost tip of the British Isles mainland. Almost an island, it is renowned for it's 300 miles of rugged coastline, sandy bays and windswept moors including Dartmoor National Park, the largest area of granite in Britain which is known for its tors -- hills topped with outcrops of bedrock, which in granite country such as this are usually rounded boulder-like formations.

Chinkwell Tor - Dartmoor
Chinkwell Tor is located on the one side of the East Webburn Valley and offers nice views over to Hameldown Beacon. The largest tor in a chain of four it sits 500 ft above sea level over Widecombe in the Moor and has stunning views all around.
