County Kerry and Cork
County Kerry contains some of Ireland's most iconic scenery: surf-pounded sea cliffs and soft golden strands, emerald-green farmland crisscrossed by tumbledown stone walls, mist-shrouded bogs and cloud-torn mountain peaks. In County Cork, you'll pass inlets along eroded coastlines and a multitude of perfectly charming old fishing towns and villages. The scenery is every bit as enchanting as the best bits of Ireland, particularly along the Mizen Head, Sheep's Head and Beara peninsulas, where you can hike wild hills and touch Ireland's ancient past.

Blasket Islands - County Kerry
The Blasket Islands are an uninhabited group of islands off the west coast of Ireland. The islands were inhabited until 1953 and at its peak, the islands had 175 residents. The population declined to 22 by 1953. The government evacuated the remaining residents to the mainland on because of increasingly extreme weather that left the island cut off from emergency services.
