Arran which means "The Peaked Island" in Gaelic, is a small island off the West Coast of Scotland and lies in the Firth of Clyde. Arran is often referred to as 'Scotland in Miniature', and captures many aspects of the beauty of Scotland as a whole, with landscapes of towering granite peaks to peaceful sandy bays.

Loch Creran - Argyle
Loch Creran is a captivating fjordic sea loch some 7 miles long which connects with the Lynn of Lorn via the narrows at the Isle of Eriska. The area around Loch Creran is steeped in myth and legend and it was the setting for Robert Louis Stevenson's classic tale Kidnapped.
