Lochaber and Ardnamurchan
The magnificent scenery of Lochaber is recognised for its outstanding and unique geological heritage. Explore mountains, lochs, rivers, coasts, cliffs and sandy beaches, look out for some wonderful wildlife, and learn how the landscape has been shaped over many millions of years.
The stunning Ardnamurchan peninsula which these days is often taken to include the neighbouring districts of Morvern, Ardgour, Moidart and Sunart is the most westerly part of the British Isles mainland and is quite literally the end of the road. This is a beautiful but unforgiving and remote corner of Scotland, with amazing seascapes at every turn. The harsh landscape is relieved by a whole series of superb sandy beaches.

Pap of Glencoe - Lochaber
The Pap of Glencoe is a mountain on the northern side of Glencoe. It lies at the western end of the Aonach Eagach ridge, directly above the point where the River Coe enters Loch Leven. The Pap has a distinctive conical shape particularly when viewed from the west, and forms part of the "classic" view of the entrance to Glencoe.
