Sango Bay - Durness - Sutherland
A picturesque sandy bay, Sango Bay is located 4 miles west of Loch Eriboll. Extending to a half-mile in width, Sango Bay is popular with surfers. Surrounded by low cliffs, it is also of interest to geologists, providing some classic exposures of the Moine Thrust zone. The settlement of Sangomore lies to the southwest and the Smoo Cave is a half-mile to the southeast.
