Brecon Beacons, Carmarthenshire and South Wales
The Brecon Beacons mountain range in South Wales offers some of British mainland most spectacular scenery. The region is characterised by remote open moorland, high mountains, and some of the UK’s most impressive waterfalls. Nestled between Pembrokeshire and the Gower Peninsula is Carmarthenshire known as the "Garden of Wales" and through this garden flows the rivers Teifi and Twyi as well as having the idyllic coastline of Carmarthen Bay. By contrast the Glamorgan Heritage Coast has almost 30 miles of cliffs and sands from Penarth to Portcawl and the Gower Peninsula was selected as the first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for its classic coastline and its outstanding natural environment.

Sgwd Henrhyd - Brecon Beacons
This spectacular and beautiful waterfall has an unbroken drop off approximately 90 ft. It is therefore the highest waterfall in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The final scene of 2012 The Dark Knight Rises was filmed at the waterfall, where it doubled as the entrance for the Batcave.
